Established in 1994 as a senior living provider, Welcome Home Management has grown to be a recognized leader in the development and management of senior living communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
At Welcome Home, we bring together several initiatives, some big, some small, and to create an impact on each customer’s experience level within each community we operate.
Mr. Bloemke is the Chief Operations Officer for Welcome Home Management, Inc. Mr. Bloemke has been with Welcome Home Management since its inception in 1994. He began his career with the company as an overnight care provider. Since those first days, he has worked in many of the positions in the company.
Mr. Bloemke shows a commitment to the overall customer experience that residents and their families have with the communities. He works closely with all departments throughout each of the communities. He brings an extensive knowledge of all operations and sales and marketing of our communities to help them be a success.
In his current position, he assists in the oversight of day-to-day operations of the communities. This includes policy and procedure creation and oversight; oversight and development of the sales and marketing programs; website and graphic design elements; development and management of social media programs; oversees our training and education programs; and works to ensure success of the overall team.
He has served on committees for LeadingAge of Minnesota. Serving as a member of Aging Services of Minnesota Education Committee, spending two years as Co-Chair. Mr. Bloemke has also spent time working with the advocacy staff for LeadingAge of Minnesota, visiting the Minnesota State Capitol to talk with state representatives on issues as they relate to older adults. He also recently served on the Public Policy Committee with LeadingAge of Minnesota
Mr. Bloemke has been a committee member on Hutchinson Leadership Design Team; member of the Hutchinson Chamber Ambassadors and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Hutchinson Chamber of Commerce. He currently sits on the Hutchinson Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Mrs. Sarah Work is the Chief Financial Officer for Welcome Home Management, Inc. She joined the Welcome Home Management team in 2002 after her early career in the insurance industry. Initially, she successfully marketed a fifty six unit senior living community in Iowa before moving to a position of coordinating benefits for all employees in the Welcome Home family of companies.
In her current position, Mrs. Work works with each community to provide a healthy working environment, and to provide oversight of financial and accounting functions for each community.
While in college, Mrs. Work worked as a Personal Care Attendant for a variety of populations, including TBI, Cerebral Palsy, quadriplegia, muscular dystrophy and other physical disabilities. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, she worked in health insurance customer service, where she was educated on various employee health insurance plans for small groups. While working at Welcome Home, she achieved her Master’s in Business Administration.
Mrs. Work has been an active participant in LeadingAge of Minnesota committees.
Mr. Work recently returned to Welcome Home Management as the Director of Health Services/RN.
Previously, Mr. Work worked on site for one of our managed properties as an RN Manager. Prior to that, he worked as a Regional Director in our company for 9 years.
Mr. Work is responsible for the monitoring and supervising the health services program at each location we manage. This includes working with each of the RNs in our communities to ensure a quality health care and wellness program. He also oversees our care provider training program.
