What do you think – are leaders born or made? When it comes to leadership … we have all been told leaders are born, not made, that leadership is about ego, nice guys finish last. That’s false! Leadership is NOT about a title or a job or position. As author Peter Drucker once put it: “Leaders grow; they are not made.” Everyone has the ability to be a leader. The question becomes what to do about it?Over the past several months, the Education Group for Welcome Home have been working on bringing a leadership style program that is geared towards all team members. This education program is part of our Welcome Home University series of programs designed for team members who are looking for more education on leadership or management style topics and in senior living.
Over the next nine months, we’ll bring short education topics on leadership, management and other topics through a webinar feature. All you have to do is sign up and log on. During these months, we’ll hear from various speakers on these topics, each with their own perspective and topic.
